Be professional

Treat colleagues the way you would in a professional setting. Robust scientific disagreement is welcome; personal attacks, harassment, and hate are not. Assume good faith and argue about the evidence, not the person.

Protect patient privacy

Keep it evidence-based

• Ground claims in the literature and link to sources where you can.
• Do not present opinion as established fact, and flag preprints and early findings as such.
• Do not give individualised medical advice to patients through the platform.

Be honest about who you are

• Use your real professional identity. Do not impersonate others or misstate your credentials.
• Only claim authorship of research that is genuinely yours. Claims are always confirmed by you.
• Disclose relevant conflicts of interest when they matter to a discussion.

Do not spam or promote

• No advertising, promotional spam, or undisclosed commercial promotion.
• No bulk or automated posting, scraping, or manipulation of engagement.

Keep it lawful and safe

• No unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or misleading content.
• No malware, security testing against the service, or attempts to evade rate limits or blocks.

Reporting and enforcement

You can report content or block another member at any time; blocks are enforced across the service. We may remove content and warn, suspend, or remove accounts that break these guidelines, and we keep a record of moderation actions. Serious or repeated violations can lead to permanent removal.
