Accessibility Statement
Last updated 20 July 2026
We want ScholarDeck to be usable by as many people as possible, including physicians and researchers who rely on assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical target, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task.
What we do
- Semantic, keyboard-navigable interfaces with visible focus.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Colour choices intended to keep text readable, in both light and dark themes.
- A dark mode and respect for the operating system's reduced-motion setting, so animations can be turned down.
- Content that reflows and remains usable on small screens.
Known limitations
Some content comes from third-party sources (such as paper abstracts and external links) whose accessibility we do not control. We are continuing to improve areas that fall short, and we welcome reports.
Give us feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on ScholarDeck, please tell us at tomliba1996@gmail.com and describe the page and the problem. We will do our best to fix it and to offer the information you needed another way.
