Background

The Hypotension Prediction Index (Hypotension Prediction Index) is a predictive algorithm that enables proactive management of intraoperative hypotension (intraoperative hypotension) and has been integrated into finger cuff devices for practical use in obstetric settings.

Purpose

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Hypotension Prediction Index in reducing intraoperative hypotension during elective cesarean sections (cesarean sections).

Methods

This randomized controlled trial enrolled parturients undergoing elective cesarean sections under spinal anesthesia.

Baseline demographic characteristics were similar between the groups.
