Methods

We report a case of pediatric colonic diverticulitis and present a systematic review to characterize its clinical presentation, diagnostic challenges and management.

Awareness may improve diagnosis, and uncomplicated cases can be treated conservatively with careful follow-up and appropriate clinical monitoring.
