Background

Synchronous presentation of solid and hematologic malignancies is uncommon, and coexistence of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (esophageal squamous cell carcinoma) with acute myeloid leukemia (acute myeloid leukemia) at initial evaluation is exceptionally rare.
