Purpose

This study aimed to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of combining monoclonal antibodies with chemoradiotherapy for the treatment of locally advanced cervical cancer (locally advanced cervical cancer) in Chinese patients.

Methods

A systematic search was performed in PubMed, Web of Science, Excerpta Medica Database (Embase), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), and WanFang for randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, and prospective single-arm studies assessing monoclonal antibodies (anti-EGFR, anti-VEGF, and PD-1 inhibitors) in combination with chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer, from inception to 5 February 2025.

The 1-, 2-, 3-, and 5-year overall survival rates were 98%, 93%, 89%, and 80%, respectively.

Common adverse events included gastrointestinal reactions (55%), leukopenia (51%), anemia (59%), and fatigue (20%).
