The high-risk phenotype for gastrointestinal vulnerability in sepsis and 28-day mortality: an integrative study based on clinical association and cross-level biological support.

This retrospective integrative study used intensive care unit (intensive care unit) admission events with sepsis from the medical information mart for intensive care IV (medical information mart for intensive care IV) to construct gastrointestinal vulnerability phenotype high-risk from three prespecified binary domains reflecting early hemodynamic support or hypoperfusion, absence of early enteral nutrition initiation, and early iatrogenic exposure burden.
