A positive correlation was observed between arterial stiffness index and pulse wave velocity (P = 0.04); however, ABI and cardio-ankle vascular index showed no correlation with arterial stiffness index when analyzed using multiple regression, adjusting for age, sex, smoking, diastolic pressure, and serum creatinine.
