One-Year Outcome of PreserFlo MicroShunt Implantation in Patients with Open Angle Glaucoma: Real-World Data from a Tertiary Centre.

PreserFlo MicroShunt implantation was associated with reductions in IOP and glaucoma medication burden at one year, with generally acceptable short-term safety outcomes.

These findings support its role as an effective bleb-forming minimally invasive glaucoma surgery option for patients requiring lower target IOPs, including those with advanced glaucoma.

However, the results should be interpreted in the context of the modest sample size, retrospective design, absence of a comparator group, and need for postoperative interventions.
