Application of lung ultrasound focusing on posterior zones in prediction of bronchopulmonary dysplasia in preterm infants: a prospective cohort study.

Infants who developed bronchopulmonary dysplasia exhibited statistically higher eLUS scores on both day-7 and day-14 afterbirth (P < 0.001).

The eLUS score on day-7 exhibited a strong correlation with invasive mechanical ventilation (invasive mechanical ventilation) on day-7, the duration of invasive mechanical ventilation, and oxygen saturation index.
