During the COVID-19 period, the mean number of anti-VEGF injections was significantly lower than the corresponding pre-COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 periods (5.55 compared to 6.13 and 6.60, respectively p < 0.01).

Baseline BCVA (0.825, p < 0.001), number of injections (-0.007, p < 0.001), gender (-0.027, p = 0.037) and age (0.004, p < 0.001) were shown to be significant predictors of final BCVA.
