Patients' and clinicians' perspectives on telemedicine to monitor patients on systemic treatment for psoriasis or atopic dermatitis - a mixed methods study.

Surveys were completed by 162 patients and 152 dermatological care providers, and interviews by 12 patients and 5 dermatological care providers.

Both groups expressed positive attitudes toward telemedicine, provided stable disease.

Dermatological care providers identified key enablers including improved ICT-support, user-friendly systems, and adequate reimbursement.

Additionally, telemedicine leads to substantial CO 2 -equivalent emission reduction.
