Background

BACKROUND: Facial atrophic scars significantly impact self-confidence and quality of life.

Purpose

To assess the clinical efficacy and safety of combining subcision with platelet-rich plasma therapy for the treatment of facial atrophic acne scars in Vietnamese patients.

Methods

A total of 44 patients with facial atrophic scars of grade 2 or higher were included in the study.

At evaluation timepoints, the Goodman and Baron grading scale demonstrated significant improvement, with statistically significant differences ( P < 0.05).
