Purpose

This study aimed to elucidate the associations between the organizational implementation of the Comprehensive Violence Prevention and Protection Program and the promotion of a safety culture and minimization of restrictive interventions.

Methods

This study adopted a cross-sectional survey design incorporating open-ended questions and targeted nursing managers as key informants in Japanese psychiatric hospitals (n = 202).
