Structural and microvascular alterations in clinically unaffected fellow eyes of patients with acute central serous chorioretinopathy: An OCT and OCTA study.

No differences were observed in mean central macular thickness or retinal nerve fiber layer thickness between fellow eyes of aCSC patients (faCSC) and controls; however, superior and inferior macular quadrants were significantly thicker in faCSC eyes (p=0.005 and p=0.007, respectively).

While superficial capillary plexus and deep capillary plexus VDs did not differ significantly, choriocapillaris plexus vessel density was elevated in the foveal, superior, inferior, and temporal regions of faCSC eyes (p<0.001-p=0.005).
