Purpose

To develop expert consensus recommendations in Spain for the management of biochemical recurrence (biochemical recurrence) in prostate cancer across different clinical scenarios using a modified Delphi methodology, and to provide a multidisciplinary, evidence-based framework to inform clinical decision-making regarding definition, risk stratification, imaging, and treatment after radical prostatectomy (radical prostatectomy), radiotherapy (radiotherapy), and radical prostatectomy followed by salvage radiotherapy.

Methods

A multidisciplinary scientific committee formulated 51 clinical statements based on a narrative literature review and expert experience.
