Background

Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists are increasingly prescribed for medical weight management and have rapidly gained relevance within plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery.

Methods

A bibliometric analysis was conducted using the Web of Science Core Collection to identify the 50 most cited publications addressing the intersection of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists and plastic, aesthetic, or reconstructive surgery.
