In total, 798 survivors participated (51.4% males, mean age = 30.3 years [range: 16-60]).

Around one-third of survivors reported significant distress (no change: p = 0.659).

Socio-demographic or clinical characteristics were not associated with changes in resilience or overall distress.

A reliable reduction of post-traumatic stress symptoms was more likely in those single (p = 0.020), unemployed or in education/studying (p = 0.003) and with poor physical health (p = 0.004).

The smoking prevalence differed per country and was highest among survivors from Czechia (23%) and Italy (22%) and lowest in Belgium (10%) and Sweden (5%).

Associated factors with any of the four poor lifestyle behaviours included male sex, lower educational attainment, reduced physical health, pain, and fatigue.

Compared with the cardiometabolic-only reference group, physical health scores were significantly lower among patients with cardiometabolic + mental + other (b=-2.07) and mental and/or other‑only profiles (b=-2.94) (p < 0.05).

Profiles including mental health conditions were associated with lower scores on mental health outcomes.

Continuity of care showed overall limited effects.
