Effect of ultrasound-guided bilateral rectus sheath block on postoperative pain control after robotic single-site gynecologic surgery: a randomized controlled study.

Verbal numerical rating scale scores at 0, 1, and 6 hours were significantly lower in the rectus sheath block group than in the control group (all P<0.05).

Subgroup analysis showed that rectus sheath block was associated with lower verbal numerical rating scale scores in patients undergoing ovarian surgery or myomectomy, whereas no significant difference was observed in patients undergoing hysterectomy.
