Background

Salmonella is a significant foodborne pathogen found worldwide.

Purpose

This study investigates the potential of tigecycline-loaded chitosan-dextran sulfate (CD-TGC) nanocapsules to combat non-typhoidal Salmonella in vitro and in vivo mouse peritonitis model.
