Purpose

To evaluate whether artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence)-derived chamber volumetry from coronary artery calcium (calcium) CT improves heart failure (heart failure) risk prediction.

Methods

This retrospective study included asymptomatic patients without known cardiac disease undergoing calcium CT between 2010 and 2023.

n = 5892 patients

Results

Artificial intelligence plus risk scores best predicted 10-year risk, better than risk scores or calcium scores alone
